Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc.?

How to Love Your Job.
Medical Biller in Charleston:
Pros: I like my co-workers, I like my supervisor, I like the atmosphere, I like the work I do
Cons: none
I feel like it was fair and they treated everyone the same but they are unfair and everyone is treated different and it depends on who you are some do nothing and get treated better then the one who actually work and its all in who you know.
Housekeeper, Hospital in Charleston:
Pros: Making sure the next patient that in in the room or area ive cleaned is going to know its been cleaned right and its safe
Cons: The different ways they treat people and our management team is like a click your either in or your out
Registered Nurse (RN) in Charleston:
Management is horrible. They don’t respect their employees. Pay is decent. You work short-handed 99% of the time putting your license on the line. The work culture is all about making management happy not the patients. Patients receive cut rate care.
To much upper level management.
Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: Wonderful people staff.
Cons: The upper levels of management are only concerned about money very little concern for patient safety. Transfer center continuously accepts patients without available beds on the floor further clogging ED with boarding patients.
