Cedarville University Reviews

What is it like working at Cedarville University?

A great work environment.
Associate Professor, Postsecondary / Higher Education in Cedarville:
Pros: Cedarville respects its employees while providing the resources needed to succeed in their endeavors. As a rule, it hires people it trusts, and then it trusts them. I always feel like the administration truly cares about my academic program and wants to see it succeed for its own sake, not just for the students it brings in.
Cons: The lack of transparency in determination of compensation. There is supposedly an algorithm being used to decide "market value," but there is no way of knowing what that system is. If you are thinking about coming here, it is totally worth it to take a small pay cut like I did (the money I saved in health alone due to lower stress levels and higher satisfaction covered the gap), don't be afraid to negotiate before you sign.
Helping Students Explore, Prepare, and Network.
Assistant Director, Career Services in Cedarville:
Pros: Helping students present themselves as best as they can.
Cons: Working in the summer
