Church Piano Accompanist - a joy!
Church Organist in Seattle:
Pros: Lucky me: I get paid to play the piano 3x a weekend! I'm the director, as well, so I get to choose music, lead the choir, lead the cantors, be a cantor, hire extra musicians. I have little supervision.
Cons: My days off don't line up with my husband's. Saturdays and Sundays are toast. I can find subs but it takes a LOT of time to prep for them.
Average.
