Care Net Pregnancy Center Reviews
What is it like working at Care Net Pregnancy Center?
Enjoy my work but highly underpaid.
Executive Director in Camdenton:
Pros: Working with clients and seeing their lives changed for the better.
Cons: Administration type work.
Community Health Advocate in Colorado Springs:
I was a volunteer for one year and six months at the pregnancy center in Colorado Springs I loved it and have several reviews from my clients and fellow volunteers of the treatment they received from me. I worked (PAID) at the pregnancy center for seven months and was fired. However I asked if I could come back as a volunteer and was told it would be considered. The reason I was fired was stated that I had a problem with authority. The way my situation was handled was unethical and unfair. I was terminated without talking first with human resources or the president. They terminated me based on the report of the director to which I worked with. The director had signs posted in her office stating that she is the queen of the world and this was only a part of the reason I resisted the design of this organization. The director would also talk about other team members in a negative way when ever she would call me into her office. I brought to her attention that this made me uncomfortable in the form of a letter to her. I was terminated for the wrong reasons. I would love to return and continue to serve the clients in the community. The center in Colorado Springs paid me to the end of the month (when terminated) but I choose not to cash the check, because it isn't about the money, but about being able to serve.
