Brookdale Senior Living Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Brookdale Senior Living Inc.?

I love what I do.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Pros: My residents and my coworkers. The time I've invested.
Cons: Management doesn't put the residents first. Also, they require the nursing assistants to put do everything, including serving meals and washing dishes (which is not in the resident assistant job description and they are not trained on kitchen, including the machines), and the residents are last priority.
Constant communications by phone and in person.
Receptionist:
Pros: The elderly resididents, meeting resident families and helping everyone that comes into the building. Keeping necessary records for State Licences.
Cons: Lack of accountability in some employees. Rules vary for different employees.
Over worked, understaffed, underpaid.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Pros: My residents are awesome. Nurses are very smart.
Cons: Underpaid, not appreciated, over work.
