Blackrock, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Blackrock, Inc.?

Lots of responsibility in activating media campaigns.
Vice President (VP), Marketing in Los Angeles:
Pros: autonomy and ability to make an impact in the org and our work
Cons: stakeholder reviews, lack of transparency, somewhat sterile workplace,
Great place to learn and grow.
Marketing Associate in London:
Pros: Given the freedom to be autonomous and lead your own agenda.
Cons: Too much politics. Hard to get things done sometimes
Stressful.
Investment Analyst in Fairfield:
Pros: Working with very intelligent people.
Cons: Limited job security, because the firm is constantly firing the bottom 10-15% of performance in any given year. If you have a bad year, you are finished.
Senior Portfolio Analyst:
Top knotch people, they are on top of it as much as anyone I have ever met in the industry. Comp is fair and competitive, benefits comprehensive, Management has its ups and downs but always finds the right direction.
Senior Performance Analyst:
Meritocracy isn’t real unless you are working for the right boss. Compensation is not as good as people think. Benefits are pretty good. Management need to listen to folks on the ground. The one blackrock culture is getting weaker.
