Big Lots Stores, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Big Lots Stores, Inc.?

Interesting.
Warehouse Manager in Noblesville:
Pros: I like my employees that actually show respect and help the management team get the store to be where it should be.
Cons: A lot of unfair things but let’s not bring that up.
Best job . Worst pay.
Team Lead, Operations in Tucson:
Pros: I love the job in its self. I enjoy working with the public. I also anjoy unloading the trucks. I like coming in early and beging able to just work with out begin bugged. And I also like doing the re sets through the the store.
Cons: The pay.
Great.
Warehouse Associate in Pompano Beach:
Pros: Hours n people
Unfair.
Retail Cashier in Miami:
Pros: I receive a store discount and weekly pay
Cons: New hires are constantly being brought in, creating competition for hours. Management is not on top of scheduling and will not try to accommodate your availability alongside a great deal of favoritism between management and associates. Management doesn't pay attention to whether or not associates are actually working.
At times stressful and labor intensive moving heavy furniture with no one to help you.
Sales Associate in San Antonio:
Pros: Flexible hours
Cons: Management out of touch with its employees
Company leaders are clueless.
Department Manager, Retail Store in Mooresville:
Pros: Benefits
Cons: Good environment at store level but corporate leaders are clueless on what we need and what the customer wants.
Retail Store Assistant Manager:
Work life balance is not good. Unrealistic expectations set by company. Pay raises are almost non existent as a Asst manager a .25c raise every year is a tad low. Only perk is the furniture discount which is unbeatable.
