Bible Church Reviews
What is it like working at Bible Church?
Great to work there. My work is partly a ministry.
Secretary in Grandville:
Pros: Giving to the Lord my time and efforts.
Cons: Women are kind of over looked or not listened to as much.
Extreme responsibility and rewarding.
Director of Communications in Chapel Hill:
Pros: Opportunities to learn and advance myself and teamwork
Cons: Sundays are always tied up
Church Administrative Assistant.
Administrative Assistant in Abington:
Pros: I like the creativity involved and the ministry aspect.
Cons: Having to chase down information from boards. Pay.
Getting paid to care for people, build relationships and organize processes is a joy.
Administrative Assistant in Virginia Beach:
Pros: Getting paid to care for people, serve a greater good, and organize to help with best practices are some of my favorite aspects of BC. I love my coworkers. We have solid relationships and are encouraged to build relationships, encourage each other, communicate, and work as a team. On the business front, we are encouraged to make processes better, attend training and grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We are encouraged to have good spiritual and emotional health. I am entrusted with a great deal of sensitive information and varying responsibility that ranges from budgeting to managing staff and volunteers to crisis counseling.
Cons: Compensation is low for the level of responsibility that has been given to me. Sometimes the vastness and range of responsibility are overwhelming as it isn't very targeted. Women aren't able to receive much promotion or positions in the top realm of influence.
It’s a busy place, but a great place to work.
Facilities Manager in Red Oak:
Pros: Interacting with lots of people
