What is it like working at Banner Health?

The work it self it great, the company is lacking in compensation compared to other companys.
Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) in Phoenix:
Pros: My fellow technition
Cons: How upper management employees below them
MRI Technologist:
I don't agree with their expansion vision, over the past 5 years. They have bought a lot of hospital that have struggled financial. So I don't know how this is going to turn out in the long run. One former co-worker described "Banner as the Walmart of Healthcare". I would have to agree, they are cheap in a lot of ways. The benefit package is fair, it was great 5 years ago. Year after year they would take some benefit or some job perk away. The pay was on the lower side for as much experience and certifications that I have. This is one of the main reasons I left. They are a decent stepping stone for someone starting out that wants some experience. Then you have to leave the organization to get paid what you are worth.
Medical Assistant in Mesa:
Pros: People I work with
Cons: No breaks
