Banner Health Reviews
What is it like working at Banner Health?
Banner Review.
Inventory Associate in Mesa:
Pros: I love working in the OR, being able to order and manage surgical supplies and equipment. I like that I am able to work at my own pace without being micromanaged.
Cons: There is no structure within management, hospital wide. We are underpaid and definitely overworked.
God-Awful, co-workers are rude billies and management actively encourages and embraces the toxic atmosphere even after they've noticed and been made aware.
Medical Assistant in Tolleson:
Pros: Benefits even though unfortunately expensive
Cons: The toxic atmosphere and people
I like the diversity in this career.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Fort Collins:
Pros: It combines all of my past experience to assist patients.
Cons: Some coworkers negativity.
Healing others and helping them,
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Sun City:
Pros: My co workers and patients
Cons: Lack communication and dont feel safe there
It is amazing. Banner offers such good quality healthcare and expects high standards from it's employees. Banner is always changing and advancing it how it operates.
Primary Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Phoenix:
Pros: The quality of staff, the management, the amazing culture at work and the quality of work that is expected. They offer the Clinical Ladder for RN'S tone courage growth and receive additional compensation.
Cons: Working in the largest banner hospital is stressful. We get the sickest patients sent to us from other hospitals. I also have to commute 35 miles from home to work at this hospital.
Amazing company to work for.
Medical Assistant in Phoenix:
Pros: Encouragement to grow within the company
Cons: Lack of options for a medical assistant without a degree
Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Room in Mesa:
I've worked at Banners busiest ER in AZ for years now. The director is career driven and makes changes in order to benefit her career and puts the needs of the department second. It's sad that it's not even standard practice to have debriefings after patient deaths for the wellbeing of staff. You learn a lot but at the cost of compassion fatigue.
