AutoZone, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at AutoZone, Inc.?

I love autozone as they are organized and fare, great to work for.
Parts Manager in Sherman:
Pros: The people I work with. Love the team work environment
Cons: Nothing, I’m a team player
Great job, not so great pay.
Delivery Driver in Las Vegas:
Pros: Working with my store to build a stronger commercial department.
Cons: My hourly pay.
If it weren’t for my staff, I would have left by now.
Store Manager (Unspecified Type) in Oakhurst:
Pros: I like my team in store. I have developed a strong group of people in the last year. Everyone has mutual respect and I want be a manager that can guide and develop them in their skills whether they choose to stay or leave AutoZone.
Cons: Communication and guidance from upper management. I don’t call unless my district manager or HR manager need to be made aware of incident ma in store or that can harm the well being of the team or the business. I feel like I am reporting to no one and that any safety, environmental, HR issues whatever they may be just gets brushed under a rug until I am forced to make a decision and hope I’m not told it’s wrong and have more work for myself and my team after fixing a problem that should be handled by the appropriate chain of command.
Would be better if I made as much as person who makes 3 dollars more since he started 4 months after I did.
Sales Associate in Gainesville:
Pros: Caring for the general public ,helping mankind learn how to take care of there vehicles and there wallets
Cons: Not being seen go over and beyond for every customer who walks through the door ,for being paid less because I do not speak Spanish, not being paid on my experience level or knowledge or know how or managing experience
The pay does not equal the work.
Retail Sales Manager in Las Vegas:
Pros: Flexible hours
Cons: The pay is not as good as other entry level jobs or other retail jobs.
A/Z Driver in Philadelphia:
Pros: working as a driver is fun an fulfilling, picking parts and delivering them to the customer on time is the best part.
Cons: what i like least like about autozone is the pay an communication between managers an employees.
It's ok fun sometimes.
Parts Counterman in Opelousas:
Pros: The discount and meeting new people
Cons: The pay and getting demoted to part time do to vehicle going down and transfer to another store close to home
