American Axle and Manufacturing, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at American Axle and Manufacturing, Inc.?

Technical Manager in Detroit:
Utterly chaotic. Most of the time is wasted in internal politics. Several new hires in keep positions do not have the right qualifications for the job. Too many issues and management is unwilling to invest properly to resolve the problems.
Exciting.
Corporate Counsel in León:
Pros: Always something new on the horizon
Cons: Commute
Needs to reassessed for the jobs demand.
Refractory Materials Repairer (but not Brickmason) in Saint Cloud:
Pros: Multi functionality
Cons: Double standards
Maintenance Electrician:
AAM has owned our plant for 2 years now. They have invested heavily in the plant and in the people. Atmosphere is good, and they bring clearly defined goals and a plan to make them reachable. On the down side it, takes a long time for innovation to trickle down and the support with implementation is sometimes haphazard.
