America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Inc.?
Hit or miss.
Optometric Technician in District Heights:
Pros: pretesting patients, and being able to assist somehow in helping patients gain better vision.
Cons: lack of motivation and efforts from cowokers, including from higher positions. Unfair treatments and favortism from higher positions.
Employee Beware.
Receptionist in Downingtown:
Pros: I like that there are opportunities to purchase stock and I like that we get free eyecare and a free pair of glasses yearly.
Cons: The workplace aura is negative at best and downright toxic at worst. Management has a tendency to let their emotions affect their interactions with each other and their subordinates at excessive levels. During those times, an unjust amount of criticism and being forced to take on the jobs and tasks of others befalls the subordinates at the detriment of their own tasks and jobs. They are then scolded and mocked for not doing their work instead of Management working with them so that if they are instructed to cover someone else's station, they are helped out in another area versus just letting their actual workload pile up. The workplace also has a very gossipy tendency that is downright catty most days.
Working as a customer service associate at America's Best contracts and eyeglasses is not only rewarding but fun filled.
Customer Service Associate in Portsmouth:
Pros: I get to interact with and assist all types of individuals and ensure that when they leave they are confident and pleased with their understanding of their spectacle and contact lens purchase
Cons: I have the honor of working with a great group of people yet there's always at least 1 in every group that's negative and helps me strengthen my creative flows of positive energy
