Ally Financial Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Ally Financial Inc.?
Reasonably Good.
Product Management Director in Charlotte:
Pros: High autonomy and trust, focused on market growth
Cons: Tremendous amount of responsibility, approximately 2 FTE worth of responsibilities
Mediocre pay, good benefits, good culture.
Administrative Associate in Plano:
Pros: Ally is a pretty relaxed environment. Having a hybrid schedule is nice. Schedules are usually flexible enough. Coworkers are generally positive and stress levels are rarely too high. Dress code is on the casual side for a bank (jeans, sneakers, polos), though not completely casual (sweats, joggers, athleisure, t-shirts). My supervisor and boss are kind and easy to work with.
Cons: Pay is not great compared to competitors. Could offer greater flexibility/freedom with schedules. The office does not have a gym nor is a fitness membership stipend offered. Snacks, and meals are offered at times, but not often. Not a lot of great swag/gifts are provided (clothes, bags, drinkware, office supplies).
Data Scientist in Jacksonville:
Great company to work for the culture they adapted works for everybody provide respect and give a room to socialize and find new opportunities within the company the benefits are best in the industry and they always come with new ideas to help.
Great work culture.
Senior Financial Analyst in Detroit:
Pros: The people.
Cons: The lack of transparency.
Unremarkable.
Customer Service Specialist in Lewisville:
Pros: Freedom to organize your own daily assignments without being micro-managed
Cons: Do not feel that there are enough opportunities to be promoted from within
Ok.
Credit / Collections Manager in Arlington:
Pros: Leader
Cons: Too many employee changes
Android Software Developer:
Underpay their employees. Willing to lose top talent for cheaper talent. Not very friendly towards female tech employees. Benefits are just adequate. HR refuses to allow managers to compensate their teams appropriately.
