Allan Myers Reviews
What is it like working at Allan Myers?
Inside Sales Representative in Malvern:
Generous health benefits. Owners of the company work hard and are engaged. In my position, I see a lack of cooperation and collaboration between departments. “Not my job” is a common phrase. There is also a lack of professionalism. Unanswered emails and messages are common. As a sales team member, I find myself in the difficult position of having to explain or defend unprofessional behavior to customers.
Quality Control (QC) Technician in Baltimore:
Working at Allan Myers is not to bad, in some ways there like a lot of big companies. As a person with 25 years experience in this industry I have seen many companies operate but one thing I do not agree with Allan Myers is unless you have a BS in something, you will never go higher than a Superintendentif that high. This company reminds me of the military, all the “white hard hats” are the Officers and the “yellow hard hats are the enlisted. A Superintendent is like a Sargent Major and a Project Manager is a Captain. Management does not talk to the lower employees much and you must follow the chain of command if you want something done. Other than this stuff, if you work hard then you might get recongnized.
Good a lot of work always busy.
Heavy Equipment Operator in New Holland:
Pros: The work
Cons: Unorganized at times
Asphalt Paver Operator:
Great benefits family like atmosphere very long hours bit for the feint hearted but with drive and determination you can go far. One of the best construction and operator jobs to have on the east coast.
