Ace Hardware Store Reviews

What is it like working at Ace Hardware Store?

Thankless uphill battle.
Retail Assistant Manager in Des Moines:
Pros: Store Cats
Cons: I'm the only one who knows how to do anything in the entire building.
Challenging but fun.
Human Resources (HR) Coordinator in Berthoud:
Pros: Helping the employees solve their HR issues and setting up the store for success/protection in any way I can
Cons: ZERO communication from the owner.
Challenging but Rewarding.
Retail Store Assistant Manager in Phoenix:
Pros: The people, Store’s owners, fellow employees, and most customers.
Cons: Having to micromanage some employees.
Retail Store Supervisor in Phoenix:
Being a Supervisor of a large busy store, can be very demanding. Running the front line since the COVID 19 pandemic, can be very mentally challenged. I’ve worked With 4 different store managers. The difference in a manager who works with you and the employees can make all the difference in moral and conduct of working as a true team. Pay and benefits are good.
Sales Associate in Houston:
There are several employees 60+ years old that are very experienced in multiple facets the business. Our store is well known in the area for the depth of help we provide to our customers. I believe $11/hr is much less than appropriate.
Customers appreciate, management doesnt.
Sales Associate in Mariposa:
Pros: Customers and learning something new everyday
Cons: Management
It's like babysitting except the children are age 55+
Gardener in Cocoa Beach:
Pros: Working with plants
Cons: -Parking behind the liquor store a quarter mile away -Making $9 when the average pay for someone with my skill level is $11-$15
