AXA Financial Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at AXA Financial Inc.?

Technical Writer in Syracuse:
I am a contractor so that means I get more per hour but no paid benefits or days off. But that’s how it is for contractors everywhere. This environment is very laid back. I was able to work from home the first Friday of my employment, and basically I only went into the office probably 10-12 times in six months. Telecommuting is ideal and I think, expected. So it was a nice surprise for me. I thought going in that I would telecommute once in a while. The bosses are on site but they are in NJ and I am in central NYS. So along with their flexibility and laid back work ethic and attitude, it’s almost like I don’t have a boss. I don’t know if they realize we all telecommute regularly and I don’t think it matters to them. The only thing is the work is not super steady but I find things to do so I can still feel comfortable billing eight hours days. Not a lot of feedback or input on the work but sometimes that’s better than criticism; plus I am 60, and seasoned, so I don’t necessarily need people to tell me I am good. 😀
.NET Software Developer / Programmer in Makati City:
Pros: Flexi-Time. 6 hours of workload per day. Sprint planning.
Cons: Uncertainty for regularization. Manager is kind of biased.
