Pros: Meaningful work, smart, competent coworkers.
Cons: Management is non-technical and doesn't understand the work they oversee. They are completely clueless to what is happening in the trenches and rule fear and intimidation. Forced to work unpaid/unrewarded overtime because you are salaried. 3M is ruled by its bean counters that respond to every hiccup on Wall Street by laying off contractors, "restructuring", forcing employees to take vacation leave so it's "not on the books”. Vacation leave cannot be carried over even if forced to work during planned, approved vacation leave during the previous year.
