Greene King Reviews

What is it like working at Greene King?

Alright.
Bartender in Edinburgh:
Pros: Discount good routes of progression and the staff are sound
Cons: The pay and for the work and hours you do to the pay isn't all that good
Not a good company to work for.
Pastry Chef in Burnley:
Pros: The people I work with
Cons: The amount of stress placed on staff because there’s not enough staff
Hard to manage budgets.
General Manager, Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent:
Pros: The people who work here. Peers.
Cons: Cost saving, and working staff to the ground
Unfair treatment in general.
Kitchen Chef in Manchester:
Pros: The people that I work with.
Cons: The management and there disrespectful treatment of staff lack of benifits and no training
Marketing Coordinator:
The department I work for is good, but the PLC as a whole is pretty soul-sucking. They are penny-pinching and do not put their people above tiny cost savings. Sign off on the smallest things go all the way up to executives who have no idea what impact their decisions are having. I give them 2 stars only because in the current climate it's good to work for a large company where you can feel vaguely secure of your salary and benefits. That said, redundancies at the company have come thick and fast in the last couple of years so it's always a vague threat.
