What is it like working at Capco?
Variable depending on your project and team.
Management Consultant in Chicago:
Pros: You don’t have to work hard if you don’t want to.
Cons: Incompetent people are kept around for the wrong reasons.
Management Consultant in Chicago:
People Thrown Under the Bus Left and Right.
Consultants have egos no matter what firm we speak about. However, a firm’s culture will determine how those egos interact with one another.
At Capco I have seen people thrown under the bus so many times that I honestly believe that *this* is Capco’s culture.
The firm struggles to close on engagements with top businesses. Many of the engagements are working with fairly junior managers executing typical daily business tasks.
Capco will sell you something different in your interview. Take it with a grain of salt.
Good Starter, Bad Growth.
Software Engineer in Orlando:
Pros: The people I work with at my level and below.
Cons: The lies that management sells and the work they keep shoveling our way.
Room for improvement.
Information Technology (IT) Consultant in New York:

- projects are dry and not intellectually challenging
