Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc.?

Claims Adjuster / Examiner / Investigator in Tampa:
Company pays below scale has terrible health insurance with high deductbles and does not guve raises. The company does not adhere to federal exempt and non exempt standards. The wrongly believe your job title determines your exempt status instead of your job functions. My position is salaried but we are micromanaged and do not meet the three prong criteria for exempt status. And if your title is not supervisor, no one cares what you have to day.
Ever changing landscape.
Account Manager in Albany:
Pros: Utilizing my personality to retain and grow our client relations and overall accounts
Cons: Telecommuting limitations, Leadership limitations
Senior Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Cincinnati:
The benefits cost to employees is too high, systems are cumbersome and require duplicate entry. No bonus in five years, raises were an embarrassment. Increase benefits took more than your minute raise each year. Don’t need insurance knowledge to “check their boxes”.
Great place to work.
Marketing Communications Specialist in Bradenton:
Pros: The people I work with
Cons: Approval process that makes things take longer. However, it is necessary in this line of business.
Burnout high.
Insurance Agent in Naperville:
Pros: Leaves me alone
Cons: Company’s high expectations. Lots of bureaucracy. Employee burnout
Client Service Manager:
Gallagher has a unique culture in their workplace that I find appealing. Everyone is treated equally. Management provides the support needed to thrive. Gallagher provides an excellent benefit package as well.
