AT&T Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at AT&T Inc.?

Constantly changing environment.
Merchandise Planning Manager in Atlanta:
Pros: The team of individuals I interact with.
Cons: Some lack of accountability by others we influence and obtain information from.
Uncertain Future.
UX Designer in Seattle:
Pros: Work from home, flexible hours, benefits, PTO, discounts.
Cons: Invest in more UX Designers. Stop relying on your developers to design the applications. Decisions aren't driven by data or user research.
Easy work. Easy pay.
Retail Sales Associate in Jacksonville:
Pros: The job is fairly easy and straightforward. Most customers come in with at least the framework of their objective already in mind. My job is just to flesh out their ideas and create a solution for them. Most times, they just want to be talked into what they already want.
Cons: As the market changes, so do sales goals and targets. Instead of the normal customer traffic sufficing, big corporate is looking for business accounts and entertainment products pushed. Even if it means creating chaos to do it. Purchasing DTV was a big deal and now employees are paying for it with each interaction. Trying to shoehorn TV into each sale is a bit overbearing. Never having clear cut promotions or deals to keep up with competitors (because funding for promos is hard to come by) is a true nightmare.
Very fast pace and loved all the customers.
Customer Sales Representative (CSR) in Mustang:
Pros: Being able to make custom happy.
Cons: The repetitiveness
As an on-site Government contractor, AT&T appreciates our efforts in business and understands our unique challenges of being on client's sites.
Systems Architect in Alexandria:
Pros: Independence and open channel to clients and managers for immediate action.
Cons: Enterprise policies from external client organization that is beyond our control and with very limited visibility to their decision process.
Your bosses make all the difference.
Assistant Manager in Las Vegas:
Pros: Large company that keeps branching out into other revenues.
Cons: Local management can be a nightmare. If youre somewhere that only promotes who they like instead of who is more qualified, you could be stuck without advisement for years. If you're open to transfer to other States away from bad District and Regional Managment then, you'll have a real shot at being appreciated and able to advance

Instructional Designer in Atlanta:
Pros: The job touches every department of the company
Cons: Job technology is not keeping pace with need
