The Walt Disney Company Reviews
What is it like working at The Walt Disney Company?
Underpaid and under apprecriated.
Bus Driver in Orlando:
Pros: Most of my coworkers and guests
Cons: Lack of variety and low pay compared to recent inflation
Working as a Video Producer at the Walt Disney Company is very demanding and requires a high degree of both creative and technical expertise across all areas of production and post production of custom media content.
Video Producer in Orlando:
Pros: I enjoy being creative and delivering meaningful storytelling media products to entertain and delight guests and make a positive impact on their lives.
Cons: Our current leadership is taking our department in a direction that feels counter to our core mission. Ultimately I do not feel supported, empowered or trusted by the new leadership whereas prior to COVID I felt fully empowered and trusted. This new change in regime along with the mandate to return to in person office work 4 days per week and the inflexible nature of the new mandate has me questioning whether this is best for me and my family any longer.
Great place to work.
Administration Clerk in Cocoa:
Pros: Happy, fun, energetic
Cons: Over worked and under paid their expectations is way too much for little pay
Buyer in Orlando:
Pros: It’s an amazing product and cast members get to feel like they are part of the magic
Cons: The stress and workload is high. It is hard to have a healthy work-like balance
I feel valued and appreciated.
Service Delivery Manager in Orlando:
Pros: A trusting and supportive team
Cons: Being unable to visit the office and parks (Covid restrictions)
Too many teams and legacy products.
Systems Engineer, IT in Kelowna:
Pros: Working for the mouse is fun to say. Lots of self managed time to get things done.
Cons: Supporting massive amounts of old products where the teams who built and own them were either shipped off to different orgs or the teams were let go, or left on their own (pre-covid) leaving critical things in the hands of people who don't truly know the tech
Generally good.
Strategic Partnership Manager in Sandton:
Pros: The opportunities and diversity of the organization
Cons: I feel that I am underpaid for the work that I do
