Chevron Corporation Reviews
What is it like working at Chevron Corporation?
I really enjoy what I do.
Sales Clerk/Cashier in Baker City:
Pros: Interaction with a diverse population, I never know what to expect when I get to work.
Cons: Cleaning up the bathroom
Project Management from cradle to grave.
Electrical Engineer in El Segundo:
Pros: Pension, 401K with 8% match on 2%, no micromanagement
Cons: Commute
Glorified Project Manager.
Facility Engineer in Calgary:
Pros: The pay is average.
Cons: There is little to no technical work that happens in-house. This leads to all engineering positions to mostly "project management" and little opportunity to develop engineering skills. Most other engineers here lack these skills as well, and so there is very little opportunity to learn from ones seniors in anything but management techniques and soft skills
Enjoyable. Get to work with alot of different people, with alot of different personalities.
Customer Service Supervisor in Houston:
Pros: Diverse
Cons: Subcontractors doesn't take your mental health seriously.
Working in Saudi Arabian Chevron.
Administrative Assistant in Kuwait City:
Pros: We are part of Chevron Corporation based in Kuwait. Hiring administrative assistant on a contract not as employees. As hiring of employees are mostly for saudi nationals. Admin assistants at SAC work directly with SAC employees but all formalities are with a contractor.
Cons: You think you are part of the operation but you actually are not. No future for contract employees and no benefits.
Changing outcomes to deliver well received business results.
Business Process / Management Consultant in Houston:
Pros: That I am empowered.... have a new challenge to resolve and add business value... minimal barriers to deliver results
Cons: That there are any barriers at all
I do not mind working at a convenience store, but not in my current conditions.
Convenience Store Manager in Toledo:
Pros: Customers
Cons: Nothing specifically about Chevron I dislike, just the private owners
