IKEA Reviews
What is it like working at IKEA?
Challenging, because management does not respect the purpose of your role and therefore does not respect it.
Risk Manager in New York:
Pros: It has a perception of having a friendly environment for most of its employees and compensates above minimum wage.
Cons: It lacks engagement in job training and has a false awareness of its employees' needs to succeed.
Interesting, Frustrating and Unclear.
Retail Store Designer in Toronto:
Pros: People relationships, benefits, working with construction groups
Cons: Unclear communication about roles and responsibilities
Good.
Data Analyst in Baroda:
Pros: Open environment and opportunities to learn more in your particular field by the experience of your work
Cons: Constant comparisons and unnecessary favouritism
Benefits Specialist in Philadelphia:
IKEA is a great place. Co-workers are treated with respect. IKEA works hard to stand by its values. I think a lot of the co-workers who have never worked at another company have sense of entitlement.
Operations Supervisor in Abingdon:
Inconsistent from the top down. Constantly trying to figure out how to define success. No communication from Senior management. Constant turnover of new employees, both Supervisors and new equipment operators. The culture of the building does not match the Ikea values. You don't find that out until you join the organization.
Laborer, Freight, Stock, Material Mover, Hand in Portland:
Pros: Autonomy
Cons: Flexibility to decide how best to perform my tasks, inclusiveness, attention to employee needs.
More knowledge we can get in ikea.
Sales Associate in Hyderabad:
Pros: Everyone should know everything in ikea, like a manger what he knows the same things should know everyone
Cons: They are not recognize hard working
