What is it like working at Dept. of Corrections?
I supervise over 40 inmates in the Industries Building at my prision.
Senior Corrections Officer in Charleston:
Pros: The pay.
Cons: Working forced overtime every day of the week some 17 hour days , having to sleep in my car because of the late nights because the drive home is over an hour away. I usually only get to see my wife when i get home if i only have to work a 12 hour shift. Not getting to see my wife if i have to work a 17 hour day.

Depends on management in charge.

Pros: It was rewarding and I learn a lot about human beings.
