What is it like working at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc?
Cashier:
Pros: Getting to know my customers.
Cons: Push to get credit apps.
Not Horrible.
Inventory Control Specialist:
Pros: Easy work, friendly Co workers, full benefits hour lunch.
Cons: Under appreciated under paid under staffed.
I enjoy my job but I'm underappreciated.
Customer Service Manager:
Pros: I know the job well and am the best at what I do. I enjoy it and treat people fairly and with respect.
Cons: Underappreciated. Underpaid. Treated poorly by customers, associates, and managers.
It is a very fast paced, stressful, multi tasking job.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT):
Pros: My co workers. I love the profession of being a pharmacy technician.
Cons: The majority of the customers, They are rude and very disrespectful.
A re-hire with supervisor experience doubting pay.
Photo Technician:
Pros: I enjoy most of the associates/ individuals I work with and assisting customers.
Cons: The open door policy. Some members of management have a flippant attitude and/ or unsure of their responsibilities. My main concern is with the Personnel Coordinator at this location. I truly believe without a doubt that she is ethically violating my rights and policies regarding associates.
Retail Store Manager:
Pros: Merchandising, customer service, associate relations.
Cons: Corporate micromanagement.
Challenges daily. Handling a lot of information and huge re.
Retail Store Assistant Manager:
Pros: Schedule, benefits.
Cons: Deal with angry customers all the time and responsibilities all over the store.
