Thomson Reuters Reviews
What is it like working at Thomson Reuters?
Many hours across various time zones, very detailed, partner with various depts including legal counsel, sales, developers, operations.
Sr. Project Manager, Operations in Eagan:
Pros: Always learning and able to freely improve my methods
Cons: so many hours, many people and positions have been cut causing more work for already stretched remaining employees
Unfullfilling.
Sales Operations Specialist in Minneapolis:
Pros: I like solving problems and improving the work life of my sales professionals.
Cons: There is a lack of understanding about the work that needs to be done, zero role clarity, and executives push initiatives that add to their resume vs enacting meaningful change.
ScrumMaster in Ann Arbor:
They claim to put women first but they pay women a lot less than a man in the same role. Movement up can be slow unless you get an advocate who is high up. A good place to stay 5 years then leave. They reorg every 12 to 18 months which causes issues but can create opportunities.
Nice place but few resources and too much work.
Global Sourcing Manager in San José:
Pros: I get the chance to learn by doing
Cons: My pay, the poor/inexistent relationship with my manager and the huge amount of work to be distributed among few resources
Smart People, Interesting Work, Byzantine Structure.
Marketing Manager in Hoboken:
Pros: We're an industry leader that spends a lot of time, money, and energy investing in products that really do help our customers and make the world run more honestly and smoothly.
Cons: It is a beehive of silos that is addicted to restructuring roughly once a year.
It has been a great learning experience, but now I need a change.
Administrative Coordinator in Bangalore:
Pros: The culture of the company.
Cons: There is constant change happening - this at times is frustrating
Thomson Reuters does not value their employees.
Sr. Test / Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, (Computer Software) in Lake Oswego:
Pros: flexibility
Cons: employees are only commodities, not people.
