DaVita Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at DaVita Inc.?
Poor Nurse-Pt ratios.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Oshkosh:
Pros: I love that the environment is challenging and pushes me out of my comfort zone, I like to be challenged to think more critically than I would normally. This company definitely has that going for it, there is just enough variability and things that remain constant where it is a nice balance.
Cons: I dislike that there is one nurse in the building, I feel it’s rather unsafe for the specific patients who have higher acuity than others. I feel at some times It is impossible to provide the best quality of care possible to all patients.
Everything feels rushed in a shift, with seemingly more worry about budget meeting than patient/employee safety.
Certified Hemodialysis Technician in Macon:
I've been with DaVita for 8 years and the company is a Fortune 500 company. The company does not want to pay you what you are worth. There are other companies the pay more. I know people who have been working there for over 15 years and still not making anything. The number 1 competitor (Fresenius) pays a lot more. Very cheap and is not good business😡
Wonderful.
Dialysis Technician in Houston:
Pros: The patient an give them the knowledge n education they need to continue daily life
Cons: Wish they would be able to teach pct to become nurse
Underpaid and shortstaffed.
Patient Care Technician in Hendersonville:
Pros: The patients
Cons: Underpaid and too many patients per person due to lack of people wanting to work that hard and quitting low pay
It could be better. Its not the company its the management and employees.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Savannah:
Pros: N\a
Cons: The management
I am proud of my work/career.
Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) in Taylorville:
Pros: Patient/staff relationships
Cons: Working with crappy computers/TVs—too tight of a budget
Fair.
Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician in Denver:
Pros: My patients and teammates
Cons: Pay, no bonuses, no appreciation for long term teammates, too worried about labor hours and not so much about the patients safety and the training process.
