Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (CCBCC) Reviews
What is it like working at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (CCBCC)?
Working as a class a cdl driver and driving semi trucks for coke is average at best.
Van Driver in New Bern:
Pros: The time off is adequate
Cons: The work load as well as the expected work environment in which you operate. They dont back their employees and even tried to fire one of our guys after he saved a young child by placing him in the truck while he called 911. The child was wandering around the highway looking for his mother and coke nearly let him go because he provided the child with safety. On top of that they expect an overt amount of servitude and exceptional service while not providing employees with the level of pay necessary to reflect that level of work ethic.
Well my manager do not appreciate or does she recognize hard work. I've been wearing the coca-cola logo for 16 years. But my manager treat her employees terrible. She once said that I wasn't worth what I was getting paid. She is a joke.
Quality Control (QC) Technician in West Memphis:
Pros: The people that work there. They are some everyday people. I love talking and laughing with them some of the best co-workers in the world.
Cons: The managers communication skills suck. Everyone is not treated fairly. Depends on who you which decides your pay.
Fair and Challenging.
Forklift Operator in Staunton:
Pros: We are more like a family than a company. We support each other and we aren't just numbers in a database.
Cons: We have employees who just dont care if the jobs done right.
Senior employees are disrespectful and put you down any chance they get.
Diesel Mechanic in Indianapolis:
Pros: Some employees are great to work with.
Cons: Communication is very poor. I have been on 3rd shift by myself for over a year and I am expected to do potentially dangerous tasks with nobody to help.
Merchandiser in Knoxville:
Pros: interaction with customers and people
Cons: job structure
Ups and Downs.
Field Service Technician in Hickory:
Pros: Service Van and 401k match up to 5%, & cheap life insurance.
Cons: Can be long hours and no matter how much, fast, or hard you work at times it still isn't enough
Forklift Operator in Greenville:
Pros: Very flexible with hours, good pay
Cons: Some people don't pull their weight
