Aramex International Reviews
What is it like working at Aramex International?
It was a great experience but I deserve better salary.
Operations Supervisor in Jeddah:
Pros: I get to work with good teamwork co-workers.
Cons: not fair with the salary and not paid overtime work.
It's okay to a certain degree, but there's lack of people with the required expertise on the field, so it's basically a trial and error type of a working environment.
Import/Export Clerk in Johannesburg:
Pros: I liked that I had to do my own research on many things because of the above reasons. I am now confident about several skills because I had to dig dipper and learn on my own.
Cons: The management style is very autocratic, and micromanaging. The team leader for entry clerk knows nothing much about customs related matters. For instance she can't even tariff and bag, can't calculate customs duties, she basically is more of a surveillance to check who is present and absent, came early or late, she is of no help to the core skills. Also the manager is really not much helpful and delegates a lot of his job to Juniors.
High pressure low reward.
Branch Sales Manager in Bloemfontein:
Pros: I like that I am trusted to conduct my business as I see fit and that I can self lead and creatively seek opportunities to find new business. I am able to explore new ways of doing business and I am not limited by old business practices. Our company invests in tech and is driven to be disruptive which makes my job interesting and exciting. I however feel I am not being rewarded for the quality work I deliver.
Cons: I am not rewarded for the work I put in. I feel like I should just be thankful for the salary I receive and I cannot ask for increases as I should just be happy with what I can get.
