Google, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Google, Inc.?

It depends who is you manager, It can be really great. But it can be really traumatic. I experienced both, The problem is that TVC do not have a platform they can file a concern/complaint as FTE do.
User Experience Research Assistant in Mountain View:
Pros: my team
Cons: My experience at Google took away my naive perception that Google does not create the gap between employees, It does create the scissors. FTE have absolutely different treatment, benefits, status and wage. and they can build their careers. TVC mostly do not have this. The worst this is that TVC are often educated as well as the FTE, have the same experience, drive and expertise. But they do not hav the same voice and future.
Amazing Perks and Great Technology.
Software Engineer in Kirkland:
Pros: Google has amazing technology and great people. I get to build cool tools every day and Google rewards me for my work. Working at Google is an amazing experience and a huge blessing.
Cons: Google zealously embraces progressive politics. Other political viewpoints are unwelcome, especially when it comes to so-called "culture war" topics. (so I just don't talk about such subjects at work).
Good.
Mechanical Engineer in Dublin:

Learning new things every day.

Great People.
Software Engineer in San Francisco:

Cons: If you do not finish an assignment in time, severe punishment!
What to work on?
