What is it like working at Verizon Communications, Inc.?
Product Designer:
Toxic culture, projects that never see the light of day, horribly designed office not conducive to collaborative design thinking.
The benefits are alright, but the below average pay results in a very fast and high turnover rate for designers.
A contradiction, a rigid company trying to evolve.
Solutions Engineer in Sydney:
Pros: Forward thinking, trying rapidly to evolve in a very fact paced technology landscape.
Cons: Trouble overcoming the rigidness of a large corporate organisation.
Senior Marketing Manager:
There is continual employee rotation due to downsizing and restructuring...unstable environment with resulting resource challenges. The culture is shifting and evolving as there have been numerous company acquisitions in the past 8 years. Currently, the company has its share of challenges due to mergers, but is positioning for longer term success.
Training Instructor:
Verizon is an excellent company to work for. In my opinion the benefits offered is which sets this company apart from others. The Con of working for such a great company is the hour can be long and the demands can be very high.
