Starbucks Corporation Reviews

What is it like working at Starbucks Corporation?

Understaffed, overworked, underpaid.
Barista in Sycamore:
Pros: benefits
Cons: being paid barely more than a new employee when i have 8 years experience
They’re fake.
Barista in Tyler:
Pros: They’ll give you a bunch of extra treats while neglecting decent pay and hours/labor
Cons: They don’t care about our health/safety. They abuse you and wear you down. They don’t look into any HR cases and will gaslight you if you find any.
Make it worth it.
Retail Shift Supervisor in Quincy:
Pros: I love the benefits that the company offers and for the most part I love bonding with the customers.
Cons: I am not a huge fan of how issues are handled within the company.
Demanding, but educational.
Retail Shift Supervisor in Humble:
Pros: I love the coffee culture and the people.
Cons: The stress of always being short staffed and having to meet unrealistic expectations.
Short crew due to call outs.
Barista in Las Vegas:
Pros: I get benefits for part time
Cons: They hire teenagers that call out and they are not good workers . High turn over. Newbies get paid a dollar less than me
Many responsibilities, inadequate pay.
Retail Shift Supervisor in Grapevine:
Pros: Developing and mentoring baristas
Cons: Unclear responsibilities; Promotions built on networking, not experience
Not considered worth a living wage.
Barista in Indianapolis:
Pros: My block is full of amazing people.
Cons: My and my fellow baristas’ labor is not considered worth being paid above the poverty line.
