Equinix, Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Equinix, Inc.?
Mid to low UX maturity level: Engineering trumps UX too often.
Senior User Experience Designer in San Jose:
Pros: Collaborating and teamwork with other designers, all seeking to produce the best designs we can within the constraints of management prioritization and an engineering-oriented mindset.
Cons: The management and product leadership are too bound by an engineering-focused mindset rather than a design-led mindset. This keeps the UX maturity of the company low and the limits the ability of the UX team to influence product roadmaps, strategies, and drive product design, limiting UX too often to polishing poorly conceived/implemented product features and releasing features that don't solve the right problems.
