BD Medical Reviews

What is it like working at BD Medical?

R&D Engineer - Medical Devices.
Research and Development Engineer in Salt Lake City:
Pros: Working on medical devices is a rewarding experience.
Cons: Project timeline expectations can be unrealistic. I often feel rushed working through testing and documenting items.
It feels great that thru my work I’m touching people’s lives somehow thru the medical device I’m planning and getting it to customer on time especially during this time of Covid.
Supply Chain Planner in San Diego:
Pros: Incision and diversity. Safe environment
Cons: Pay less than other company
Really satisfying.
Production Operator in Trim:
Pros: The products we make save lives
Cons: Communication between operators and management not good and pay
Executive Assistant in San Diego:
Over worked, under paid. Code of conduct policy not enforced. Total burnout after 3.5 years. Was hired to support VP/GM, and after two weeks of employment, inherited a Director and his team of 10+, without further compensation. Three years later, inherited 4 more VPs without further compensation. Burned out after two months of these extra duties. Very little recognition for huge projects out of the scope of my assigned duties, or others taking credit. Went on medical leave due to stress, anxiety, and depression and found peace; so I gave my notice and I'm no longer exhausted.
