Aldi, Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Aldi, Inc.?
Fast paced environment, with under paid and under valued employees.
Warehouse Associate in O'Fallon:
Pros: It’s a self sufficient role, with you and your head set. You are in charge of your work performance
Cons: Management is unorganized, they don’t listen to employee feed back. Were underpaid, and and after being there for years. No hires make $50 less than me, and I’m capped out.
Stressful.
Retail Store Assistant Manager in Canton:
Pros: Employees
Cons: The pay for what you do. People not knowing what they are doing but getting paid the same as you. The stress
Totally overworked and no incentives for long-term employees.
Sales Associate in Englewood:
Pros: Interacting with regular customers
Cons: The store manager seems to have an issue on telling the complete truth.
You get what you give.
Sales Associate in Snellville:
Pros: With almost four years of experience and ALDI USA, I have seen it progress in just a short amount of time. Starting off as a new employee, it was unlike any other retail job I had before with a lot more responsibility which was good. All ALDI employees should be considered managers because everyone does nearly the same work so there is little micromanagement. The company has great benefits and if you are in school they can flex your schedule. I had a great team so being able to be a team player and contribute makes things a lot easier. The store is not as big as your average store so it makes it a lot easier to manage.
Cons: At the end of the day, it's still retail. You still have customers who are very demanding, and the days itself with all the task can be demanding especially at first. You will not learn everything in a year, and sometimes your team might not be friendly. Even though the store closes at 8, the stores deal with a lot of customers and it is very short staffed. Anyone can do the task, but it isn't for everyone. It's a physically demanding job!
Great Place to Work.
Administrative Assistant in North Aurora:
Pros: Aldi is super open and transparent! Management is very clear with employees and communication is key!
Cons: Aldi is awesome!
Management sucks. The more your willing to do you job correctly the more they try to put on you but not the lazy people.
Shipper/Receiver in Charlotte:
Pros: The pay.
Cons: Management is sorry.
Difficult and stressful with good pay.
Retail Shift Supervisor in Newnan:
Pros: Managing, making decisions.
Cons: Short staff, amount of work expected to do is difficult.
