HP Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at HP Inc.?

Good work life balance, trade-off for compensation.
System Integration Engineer in San Diego:
Pros: Good team of people working on interesting technology challenges
Cons: Promotion availability at the whim of executives who feel need to cut costs when company does perform well due to mismanagement
Good work-life balance, trade-off in compensation.
Reliability Engineer in San Diego:
Pros: Interesting challenges to work on and improve
Cons: Politics around when they will hire and promote interfere with career advancement and team balance
Better than some jobs.
Inside Sales Representative in Albuquerque:
Pros: Leadership gives us opportunities to have our voices heard
Cons: Their reasons for having inside sales go back into the office after COVID shut downs don't make sense and my pay isn't enough.
Hard work, but rewarding.
Field Service Engineer in Norfolk:
Pros: I am able to interact with a wide variety of customer companies and provide excellent solutions
Cons: Work demand is high and can have periods of extreme stress
Interestingly Intriguing, but Underpaid.
Field Service Engineer in Phoenix:
Pros: The process of change makes this never a dull job
Cons: Because of the constant change, the compensation doesn't match the varied work. I'm doing the work of a mechanic, and electrician, plumber, and technician, but only get paid for the least experience one.
Hybrid work seems to be the way of the team's future.
Data Analyst in San Diego:
Pros: I like working with statistically programming tools like R to help visualize the data. I like how I am able to work from home - while we are still full time remote now, it sounds like we're only going to go into the office 2 or 3 days a week once we are cleared.
Cons: I don't spend a lot of time with my team directly - most of my time is spent with another team. On my current team, I am the only analyst - rest are designers and researchers.
My manager is more interested in hiring me cheap.
Firmware Engineer in Singapore:
Pros: I do it the way I see fit
Cons: My pay and that my manager uses me
