Trainer, Employee / Human Resources (HR):
If you're going to ask someone to rate their organization, at least get the name of the organization correct please. Its G4S Secure Solutions (Canada) Ltd., not Security Services. Its a decent company. Competitive wages in some areas. Great training opportunities that are only taught by this company, no other organization teaches what is taught in terms of Use of Force options. Managers are... Managers. Nothing special, they say what they need to say to get the job done, but it could be more efficient and done with more honesty. Lots of available hours, always have open shifts. If you want OT pay, like any other Security firm, we can make that happen. Based on initiative shown and loyalty to the company, there is a lot of room for growth, but at least G4S promotes staff accordingly based on job specific needs, not so much on favoritism. Lots of opportunities outside of just being a Guard as well. Plenty of departments to choose from if you come to us with a valuable background. Overall, decent company.
