What is it like working as a Software Engineer?

Software Engineering is just not a job but an art, needs constant practice and learnings. If used correctly can have huge positive impact on society and can shape the future. I hope to be part of it.

Pros: I like programming and thinking out of the box. As a software engineer, I face lot of challenges in my daily tasks, and I try my best to come up with efficient solution as possible to resolve the problem at hand. I like the Software Engineering, is because of constant practice and learning. Every single time, you learn something new which is like a key for you to open even more possibilities and opportunities.
Cons: Sometimes when there is a huge challenge or small challenge, we tend to sit and keep thinking about the solution or outcome by falling into the trap/loop. This leads to more stress and unhealthy time at work, where as you are supposed to take frequent breaks to keep your mind fresh with new thoughts, has higher impact on your mood and leads to productivity, reducing the time taken for even bigger challenges to finish at any given time. Last, physical activity is mandatory but we tend to give it last priority due to the work being priority number one.

Cons: Compensation is very unfair, does not factor in skills in demand and similar compensation for that role in other organizations.

Cons: There's never enough time to get done everything that needs to be done, and projects drag out longer than they should.

Good work; No Company Communication.

Pros: The employees and teams are great to work with.
Cons: There is no communication or followup about what you will be doing. It is nearly impossible to climb to a higher position. Salary is low compared to similar work in nearby companies.
