Service Coordinator Reviews

What is it like working as a Service Coordinator?

September 2014
Service Coordinator:
You have to be caring and compassionate main thing about this job is to be RESPONSIBLE the care and safety of the client is extremely important. This job is very stressful, you have to be extremely attentive to every detail able to communicate not only with the client and their families but also with the insurance representative and the HHA is very important to treat everyone with respect. Everything has a time limit you must be able to meet your deadline work in a very stressful environment and be available 24/7 I really don't recommend this job to anyone who has a family (small children)its very time consuming. You do learn a lot from this position you meet a lot of different wonderful people along the way.

Stress Levels.
Service Coordinator:
Pros: The employees I work with and the environment around me. Field service is a 24/7 job and there is nothing that is unexpected. The time flies in this type of environment because you never know what will happen in a day. You need to be at the top of your game and always be on your toes and ready to deal with whatever comes in.
Cons: The lack of management direction. Too many meetings are called to discuss the processes of the company but there are never many solutions/conclusions to these meetings.
November 2013
Not enough time in a day
Service Coordinator:
Pros: I enjoy staying busy, problem solving, and multi tasking. This role keeps my skills sharp.
Cons: Being micro managed. It can also be challenging when you are not familiar with your industry.
