What is it like working as a Security Supervisor?

Seriously rewarding.
Security Supervisor:
Pros: Exercising Knowledge, Skills and Abilities gathered in School, Life, and other jobs in conjunction with new skills to complete tasks and meet goals according to mission and vision of enterprise.
Cons: Bureaucracy and lack of loyalty.

Non time.
Security Supervisor:
Pros: I enjoy working with the public to critically think through problems in the community.
Cons: I don't like the policies of the retail stores I assist in combating crime.
January 2016
Staff are slow to report suspicious activity.
Security Supervisor:
Pros: Challenge of solving a problem I haven't been trained for. Being set a task and achieving it, then being able to learn as much as possible to later use to overcome a future problem. Also to pass on that knowledge to others.
Cons: Staff not being willing to report suspicious activity due to a fear of being made fun of. Lack of challenges, as the world of security is moving towards technology so should our training. Most of that is being done on my own time and at my own expense.
