Pros: We are a family. Everyone cares so much about each other and making sure customers have an amazing experience.
Cons: Favoritism is shown by some managers to sales associates. And not all sales associates are held to the same standard and others.

Pros: A pay check.

Pros: Positive, optimistic people I work with.
Cons: Negative, children like, immature adults and people who do not know how or care to know how to do their job.

Good, Bad, and Ugly.
Sales Associate:
Pros: The people are really nice. Flexible work schedule. Lots of change...new processes and ideas. 10% percent discount.
Cons: Its a high stress job some days and some days its down right boring. Hours fluctuate so one week you may have 35 and the next 15. Ideas and processes are always changing so adaptability is a must.

Pros: The friends you can make. And getting some knowledge of how things work at a store. The are flexible with scheduling hours.
Cons: Standing all the time never allowed to rest the legs. Only get a measly 15 minute break.

Contacts are Important.
Sales Associate:
Selling Jewelry at an Independent Jeweler is not confined to the store. Bringing Customers to buy is an important part of the job. Every contact outside of the store is a potential future customer.
