Retention Specialist Reviews

What is it like working as a Retention Specialist?

November 2018
Retention Specialist:
I love my job it is the most rewarding job I have ever had. I feel like I make a difference in the lives of our clients, co-workers and the owners. We are all team players and work well together. The pay could be better and we do not have PTO or any type of benefits such as, health or life insurance. But rewards come in different ways and when I go out in the field and take care of a client, that is what makes it worth while.

Satisfying.
Retention Specialist in Clinton Township:
Pros: There are many restaurants and gas stations situated very closely to my office, many within walking distance. This makes my lunch hour very easy to enjoy. There is even a Tim Horton's across the street for those days when I need a pick me up. My office is conveniently located near my current home. My commute is mostly enjoyable, and I am even able to go home at lunch if I desire. The price of gas near my office is substantially higher than near my home though.
Cons: I am not fond of Michigan as a whole and intend to move soon. The price of gas is higher near my office than it is nearer to my home. There is quite a bit of traffic here in Clinton Township, especially near M-59 and with the construction it does make taking that way to work impossible. I have had to re-route myself for several months now.

Retention Specialist:
Pros: Problem solving is essential. Requires critical thinking.
Cons: You only talk to angry customers.
