Acosta does not value their employees.
Retail Merchandiser in Fort Worth:
Pros: Working independently.
Cons: I was offered 11.00 an hour and no previous experience and No raises in the 6 years I worked. They hired people after me and offered them 13.00 dollars an hour with no previous experience.
September 2019
Retail Merchandiser in Kingsport:
Too large of territories. Only 20 hours a week. Poor training. Lots of sales and not time to take care of accounts. New supervisor every 2 years just fresh out of college and only worked at WalMart for Hershey. No people skills and you really train them to climb the corporate ladder. If you like sales and travel this is for you. You get a new District Manager about every 3 years. Hershey products are wonderful people you have as accounts is the best part of your job once you learn territory and accounts.
September 2019
Retail Merchandiser in Salt Lake City:
I like the flexibility, the hours are less during the summer, pay could be more I been here over a year and haven't received a raise, I did get a gift card but went to use it and it wasn't activated..
September 2019
Too much is given to you at one time.
Retail Merchandiser in Port Huron:
Pros: Health dental and vision benefits
Cons: The way that the company is trying to save money. They have made it so what you were doing is not good enough anymore. Now you have to know how to run the entire store with minimal training and no regard to how their employees feel about having to run a department like jewelry where if you lose a small earring or ring it could be worth thousands of dollars. Because of this just as many people quit as are hired so no head way is made. In the past 2 months we have had over 40 employees quit because of the changes.
August 2019
Repetitive in Task's but you get to Move Around the Store.
Retail Merchandiser in Spokane:
Pros: I get to use Machinery and Tool's and Build Display's and Steel Racking with my Hands. I also like that New Displays and Fixture's come in that require Construction and Placement.
Cons: As Decent as my Job is, it doesn't pay enough to pay my Bill's, and my Job is Rigid and Inflexible, and Directly Prevents me from Obtaining a 2nd Job to make the Additional Income I need.
