Process Engineer in Irvine:
Pros: Irvine is centrally located and worked there for years, but now I telecommute.
Cons: The 405 is traffic Intensive during peak hours.

Pros: I love what I do on my position, I really enjoy my work as process engineer, know the process, design cells of production, increase the efficiency, etc.
Cons: Dont respect about the contract hours, unbalance work.

Pros: Cost of living is very reasonable for this area of the country. Short travel to minor and major cities in the area.

Age should not determine pay!
Process Engineer:
Pros: It lets me use my creative thinking to solve problems. I'm always learning new things. I feel important sometimes. I have responsibilities.
Cons: Stressful, being micromanaged. Having to pick up slack of others. Going above and beyond and never being praised for it. Doing more than others who have been there longer and getting paid less because I'm younger so I must not know what I'm doing.

Pros: Working with the operators and making their jobs easier, less stressful and more rewarding.
Cons: I enjoy some equipment maintenance, but I have to do probably too much to put as much time as I would like into process improvement.
