Prep Cook Reviews

What is it like working as a Prep Cook?

August 2016
I do too much work for what I'm getting compensated.
Prep Cook:
Pros: I like the job, but I just don't feel like $10 per hour is enough.
Cons: Not enough pay.
December 2015
Low pay long hours.
Prep Cook:
Pros: The work was easy, but time consuming. People were friendly and I could listen to music.
Cons: The pay was horrid and the hours insane. In prep areas. And if you didn't work crazy long days you made no money. They made sure you worked 5-6 days a week even if it was only 3 hours a day when working line.
August 2015
Boston Pizza prep cook.
Prep Cook:
Pros: I like how the company does have room, so to say, for employees to move around, I could become a server or a manager in the future. I also like how they take the proper measures to ensure you are trained and will have little to no stress at the work place.
Cons: I do not like how long it has taken the company to complete a performance review, or get back to me on a pay raise. Also, there are times where I will not have shifts for weeks on end, or even just one every two weeks.
July 2015
Rewarding.
Prep Cook:
Pros: I love working with food and be creative. I love to see and hear the way people love your food and it makes them happy. I like my coworkers how we work together as a team.
Cons: No pay raises.. How we get paid. I hate how mangement shows favoritism. No opportunities for growth are moving up the ladder. The lack of showing to employees their thankfulness of your hardwork and loyalty.
July 2015
Enjoy working with food.
Prep Cook:
Live your job.live food and taking care that the dish is right. Never leave food unwatched.pay close attention to details and a very big must fellow the recipes to the tee.never iss an ingredient.learn your knife skills.there is never a stupid question.
July 2015

March 2015
