Hardwork.

March 2022
Under paid and under valued.
Physical Therapy Assistant in Orangeville:
Pros: always have weekends off.
Cons: if you book time off they expect you to make up those hours, so its almost pointless taking time off.
PTA's top out at 16.50/hr (so they say).
constant revolving door always training new employees.
lack of communication from your managers.
September 2020
The patient care is rewarding, the company is not.
Physical Therapy Assistant in Savannah:
Pros: Interactions with patients and medical staff make the job worth it.
Cons: The upper management lacks transparency and deals behind close doors without informing staff of decisions until already carried out. The pay for new grads is terrible, and the promotion system and advancement of pay is abysmal.
July 2020
Very stressful, exhausting, overwhelmed.
Physical Therapy Assistant in Newell:
Pros: I love actually doing therapy
Cons: Not getting the schedule until 7:30pm night before, productivity, and never getting any positive feedback. If I hear from my supervisor it's because of something that wasn't done fast enough or the way she would have done it.
May 2020
Physical Therapy Assistant in Baltimore:
I'm so disappointed in my company. In the current Covid-19 crisis, cut the pay of all rehab staff by 10%. The therapists that are providing DIRECT PATIENT CARE, while other companies are giving hazard pay. The CEO-who is a MILLIONAIRE- takes a 15% pay cut, and expects us, the people that EARN THE REVENUE for the company, to think he is generous. It's unbelievable!
November 2019
Amazing place to work.
Physical Therapy Assistant in Longview:
Pros: Family atmosphere where patients and staff are cared for. Staff support during times of life stress (family member death, mental health, illness/injury) is amazing. Monthly incentive bonus program.
Cons: Stressful at times due to high volume of patients.
November 2019
Physical Therapy Assistant in Swansea:
I work very hard keeping up with my schedule, patient diagnosis can be multiple which makes it difficult to treat in 30 minutes. I work with all white people, benefits are good but no continuing education assistance.
