Physical Therapist Assistant Reviews

What is it like working as a Physical Therapist Assistant?

March 2022
Not impressed.
Physical Therapist Assistant in Pocatello:
Pros: It's not a very stressful place and the staff on ground floor are good.
Cons: They talk the talk, but can't walk the walk. I can't get time to speak with my boss to get programs they want to get going and I have to do it myself. They don't appear to want to put in any effort for what they want.
March 2022
Small town, frequent flyers.
Physical Therapist Assistant in Port Huron:
Pros: I like that most people know each other and can use the facility as a safe space to converse and get well.
Cons: It's a "small" town; everyone knows each other which can breed bias towards those that have created a legacy with their surname.
March 2022
Physical Therapist Assistant in Saint Petersburg:
The regional manager is a bully and forces employees to choose between working off the clock or being fired to achieve unrealistic productivity standards. If you want to be micromanaged, threatened, screamed at by upper management, and are willing to commit fraud and risk your license than Select Rehab is the place for you.
February 2022
Enjoyable.
Physical Therapist Assistant in Bloomington:
Pros: The patients outcome and watching them hit little personal goals along the way and get excited about it!
Cons: Poor communication
January 2022
Busy, enjoyable, positive atmosphere and always changing.
Physical Therapist Assistant in Portland:
Pros: I love working with my patients
Cons: Management constantly changing
January 2022
More good than bad.
Physical Therapist Assistant in Pensacola:
Pros: Flexibility of scheduling, opportunity to help other areas to make up for low caseload, weekend rotation, one on one connection with patients
Cons: No annual merit raises or cost of living adjustments. Free Online CEUs yet no alloyed financial reimbursement for in person or paid CEUs.
October 2021
I don't work in Detroit; I work in Port Huron.
Physical Therapist Assistant in Detroit:
Pros: What I like most about working in Port Huron is that it is close to home and my family, the area is beautiful and developing well.
Cons: What I like least about working in Port Huron is that interventions learned are still not as modern as inner city.
