Operations Supervisor:
Pros: Many interesting challenges related to streamlining performances and creating structure.
Cons: In my office (not going to speak about the industry as a whole), the office manager and the operations supervisor wear all the same hats.

I wish I new there would never be a raise.
Operations Supervisor:
That if there is no opertunituy for a raise be carefull if your company only offers bonuses then to see how much control you have to actually achieving a bonus.

Pros: Very challenging and flexible.

Run away.....
Operations Supervisor:
Pros: Its a job, that's about it. Nothing special.
Cons: Everything is geared toward the drivers.
Making half the wage of a driver and you are their superior. I am not talking a little bit I am speaking of.
DOUBLE the Supervisors salary.
A seriously broken system. Micromanaged to the maximum. Doesn't care about customers, driven by shareholders. Overworked and WAY underpaid.

Cons: Feast or famine. Reactive containment, work volume changes one day to the next.
